This early season event is held in memory of popular rider and local champion Phil Cooke who tragically lost his battle with cancer in July 2005, Phil was a modest man who gave much to people and sought little in return, just the opportunity to ride his bike at every opportunity, appreciate the beautiful local countryside, and race with some of the best riders in the country. This ride takes in the roads Phil so loved to ride.
