Our mission is to provide you with an enjoyable personal challenge that will ensure you have a sense of achievement whilst giving benefit's to the community no matter what your level of fitness.

We hope you relish the challenges we offer you!!

Phil Cooke Challenge Ride

Our next event is the "Phil Cooke Challenge Ride" being held on 19 February 2012. The route is the same as last year and as in previous years we will ensure the route directions will be well marked with directional arrows and of course all participants will receive a detailed route sheet. Due to car parking limitations we are having to again restrict the number of entrants to 500 so it may be wise to enter early to avoid disappointment.

Whilst we will take registrations right up to the event date or the 500 maximum (we will give regular feedback regarding the number of registrations to date) pre- event day registrations will be discounted and of course pre-registered riders will not be subjected to the queuing  and  event day registration process. Over the years this event has proved to be popular with seasoned club riders testing their fitness prior to the start of the forthcoming season and equally popular with the leisure rider eager to address the social seasons excesses!

We are now taking the discounted registrations for the event on the "Event Registration" page and the "Pay Here" page. The discounted registration fee being £8.00 until 1st February 2012 when it will be increased to the full registration fee of £12.00 for the remaining places until the 500 figure is achieved.

Bring some spare cash!! This year the photographer is planning to process and sell the event pictures at the Dunchurch Headquarters ready for when you return if you cannot wait for them to go on-line. We are also selling off (at below cost) a limited number of "Phil Cooke Challenge Ride" souvenir Tee Shirts (only £3.00) and to ensure you are prepared in the event of that unplanned puncture we have a limited amount (approx. 50) of pocket sized (9 patches) puncture repair kits for the cost price of £2.00, other bargains maybe for sale on the day!!!

Unfortunately this year we cannot provide the extensive parking facilities we have done in previous years at the adjacent "Dunchurch Park Hotel" therefore car parking will have to be accommodated on the limited facilities at the Village Hall and any surrounding local roadsides. It would of course help if local riders could travel by bike and travelling riders could arrange car sharing where possible. If any developments happen with regards to car parking then it will be announced on this site in the "Latest News" section. Your help on this matter will of course be appreciated!!
