Due to the Phil Cooke Challenge ride being cancelled earlier this year (February) following a freak overnight snow fall we have decided to re-run it on 3rd  October 2010 (when hopefully the weather will be kinder to us) and include an extra distance of 16km’s (10 miles) for the not so fit riders,  new starters or family groups. All routes will enter the two counties of Northamptonshire and Warwickshire and include some testing hills which all riders completing their respective distance should be proud to conquer.

The ride is held in memory of  popular rider and local champion Phil Cooke who tragically lost his battle with cancer in July 2005, Phil was a modest man who gave much to people and sought little in return, just the opportunity to ride his bike at every opportunity, appreciate the beautiful local countryside, and race with some of the best riders in the country. This ride takes in the roads Phil so loved to ride.
